1 What Is the fee of Registration and Examination?

Total Registration and Examination fee is Rs. 500 /- ( Fee of Rs.437/- plus 14.5% service tax )

3 What documents need to be submitting along with the examination form?

No documents are required to be submit at NIEUT Centre.

4 What Is mode of examination fee to be paid in case of Online Examination form?

The candidate/institute make the payment through the following modes : -
i) Online (Credit/ Debit card/ Netbanking)
ii) NEFT
iii) CSC-SPV

5 From where can I get the details of Regional Centre?

The details of Regional Centre vis-a-vis state are available on the website of NIELIT

6 How many papers are there in POS examination?

Only 1 paper.

7 What are the minimum marks required to qualify POS examination successfully?

35 marks out of 100 are the minimum marks required to pass this exam.

8 What is the mode of examination?

The examination is conducted in Online mode i.e. no pen/penciVpaper is required.

9 How many questions to be attempt and what is the duration of examination?

The Question Paper comprises of 100 objective type questions of 1 mark each, and the candidate is required to attempt the 100 questions in 60 minutes. There is no negative marking.

10 Where I can appear In the POS Examination?

Normally, the examination centres allotted to candidates is according to his/her centre choice (city) filled by the candidate in his/her examination form. However, NIELIT reserves the tight to allot any other examination centre that has not been filled by candidate.

11 Can I submit more than 1 examination form in single examination cycle?

No.

12 Can I apply again for another POS examination cycle, in case I failed to pass the examination ? Is there any limit to apply for POS examination?

Yes, you can apply again in other exam cycle till the validity of registration exists by paying a fees of Rs. 360/- per candidate per exam (Reappear f. of Rs.314/- plus service tax) . The candidates who failed to pass the examination within a period of six months after completion of training, shall be required to re-register for the training by paying Rs.500/- (Fee of Rs. 437/- plus applicable taxes.)

13 How I can get the confirmation that my examination form for POS has been processed?

The Candidate can check the status at http://student.nielitoov.in

14 From where do I get my Admit Card and what can I do, in case there is mistake in the admit card?

The admit card can be downloaded from the student online portal (http://student.nielit.gov.in). The admit card is according to details fumished by the candidates in OEAF. No correction request will be entertained.

15 Where I can check the result of POS examination?

The result will be declared on the student online portal of NIELIT http://student.nielit.gov.in

16 When the result will be declared after the examination?

Under normal circumstances, the result will be declared after 15 days from the completion of examination cycle.

17 If I pass the POS examination, who will issue the certificate?

The POS certificates to the successful candidates will be issued by the NIELIT.

18 If I pass the examination, can I have to collect my certificate from NIELIT or it will be dispatched to me?

Digitally signed e-certificates are being issued to the candidates who pass the POS examination conduct. by NIELIT. The digitally signed e-certificates can be downloaded by the successful candidates from the website of NIELIT (http://nielit.gov.in/certificate/). Successful candidates can save the pdf file of e-certificate for future use.
